The AutoPot 1Pot Module AQUAvalve5 - 9mm is an efficient, gravity-fed automatic watering system designed to provide consistent irrigation without electricity, pumps or timers. Featuring a 15L growing pot and the innovative AQUAvalve5, this self-watering system automatically regulates the supply of water and liquid nutrients while allowing plants to experience a natural wet and dry cycle. Ideal for hydroponic growing, coco cultivation and soil-based gardening, the modular design allows growers to expand their setup by connecting multiple pots to a single reservoir.

Whether growing seasonal flowering plants, vegetables, perennial shrubs or indoor crops, the AutoPot 1Pot System provides a convenient way to maintain reliable root-zone moisture with minimal daily maintenance. Each pot sits in its own tray, allowing individual modules to be repositioned as plants mature and require more growing space. Once connected to a suitable reservoir and correctly established, the system waters plants automatically, leaving growers to monitor and replenish the nutrient solution as required. The 15L pot provides growing space for individual plants, while the modular design makes it easy to expand from a single pot to a larger automated irrigation network. It is also an excellent choice for growers who want to reduce daily hand watering, avoid electrical irrigation equipment and maintain a flexible layout as plants develop.

How To Use

Begin by placing the AutoPot 1Pot tray on a firm, level surface in your growing area. Position the Root Control Disc inside the tray with the gold side facing upwards. Place the black Marix Disc inside the bottom of the 15L pot, then fill the pot with a suitable free-draining growing medium and transplant your plant. Water the growing medium thoroughly from above and allow any excess water to drain before placing the pot into the tray.

Install the AQUAvalve5 into its designated position in the tray and connect the supplied 9mm irrigation pipe to the valve inlet, following the manufacturer's fitting instructions. Connect the other end of the pipe to a compatible external reservoir using the appropriate fittings and filter. Position the reservoir so that its base is at least 150mm above the highest AQUAvalve to maintain gravity-fed water delivery. Ensure the pipework is secure and free from kinks, then fit the tray lid over the valve compartment.

Allow newly transplanted plants to establish for approximately 7-10 days, watering from above during this period before activating the automatic irrigation system. Once established, fill the reservoir with water and suitable liquid nutrients, then open the supply to allow the AQUAvalve5 to regulate irrigation automatically. The valve allows the tray to empty before introducing more solution, creating the characteristic AutoPot wet and dry cycle. Check the reservoir regularly, refill it when approximately one-third of the solution remains, and periodically inspect the valve, discs and pipework to maintain reliable operation.
