Magnetic Ballasts

Magnetic grow light ballasts have been traditionally used to power High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide grow lamps for many years now. Because magnetic ballasts use a simpler technology when compared to Digital Ballasts, they're relatively cheap and budget-friendly for the new grower. Because these ballasts provide a specific power and are not dimmable, it's important to make sure that it is paired with a compatible bulb.
