While we carry an extensive range of stock, there may be times when certain products are temporarily unavailable due to supplier issues or other factors beyond our control.

If this happens, our Fulfilment Promise ensures you’re not left waiting. Where possible, we’ll upgrade you to an alternative product of equal or greater value, at no extra cost—so you receive everything you need without delay.

If you’d prefer to wait for the original item, no problem. We’ll always contact you before making any substitutions to confirm you're happy with the alternative.

If we’re unable to reach you within 24 hours, we’ll dispatch your order without the out-of-stock item. The original product will be sent to you as soon as it becomes available — or, if it’s no longer available or suitable, we may have to refund that item from your order. To help us reach you quickly, it’s always best to leave a phone number when placing your order.

This approach means you can order from Hytec Hydroponics with complete confidence that your order will arrive quickly and completely.

Terms & Conditions

  • You will be contacted within 24 hours of us being made aware that an item in your order is on backorder. Please check your emails and spam folder.
  • Contact will be made within our office hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 5pm.
  • If an item is out of stock at the time of fulfilment, we’ll offer you the most suitable alternative product.
  • No substitutions will be made without your prior approval.
  • The replacement product will always be of equal or greater value than the item originally ordered.
  • If you're advised at the time of purchase that an item is out of stock, you will not be eligible for an upgrade.
  • Once a replacement is confirmed, no further changes can be made to the order, as it will move to our packing team for dispatch.
  • Once a substitute has been agreed, Hytec Hydroponics will not be liable for any damage or compatibility issues unless these were discussed and confirmed with you at the time of approval. If you're unsure whether the alternative suits your setup, please ask us before confirming.
  • If you request a refund for an item that has been substituted, the refund will reflect the value of the original item ordered.
  • If no suitable alternative is available, you’ll receive an estimated restock date for the original product.
  • Upgrades only apply to individual items, not complete kits or bundled products.
  • All other standard Hytec Hydroponics website terms and conditions apply.
