The Hybrid Controllers +PRO Series are premium twin fan speed and grow room climate controllers designed to provide precise temperature control while keeping extractor and intake fans running smoothly and quietly. Combining digital temperature sensing technology with a robust mechanical fan-speed control system, the Hybrid PRO provides dependable automatic ventilation control without the humming or buzzing commonly associated with standard electronic fan dimmers.

Available in 4 Amp, 8 Amp and 16 Amp versions, the Hybrid Controller +PRO Series is suitable for a wide range of ventilation systems, from smaller indoor grow rooms through to high-powered extraction setups.

Completely Silent Fan Speed Control

One of the biggest advantages of the Hybrid PRO Fan Controller is its ability to regulate compatible AC extractor and intake fans without creating unwanted motor hum or buzzing.

Rather than electronically dimming the fan in the conventional way, the controller uses a mechanical switching system combined with intelligent temperature-control software. This allows the controller to move between predetermined fan speeds while maintaining quiet and reliable fan operation.

Automatic Grow Room Temperature Control

The Hybrid Controller PRO includes a 5 metre NTC temperature sensor which continuously monitors the temperature in your growing environment.

Simply position the temperature probe in the required area, select your desired temperature and set the minimum fan speed. The controller then automatically adjusts the connected fans through its available speed settings to help maintain the selected temperature.

As temperatures increase, fan speed is automatically increased. When the environment cools, the controller can reduce the fan speed again, helping maintain more stable conditions without constant manual adjustments.

5-Step Fan Speed Control

The Hybrid +PRO Series provides up to 5 fan-speed steps. When operating in automatic mode, the minimum fan setting determines the lowest speed the controller is allowed to use.

For example, with minimum speed set to position 1, the controller can automatically operate between speeds 1 and 5 depending on temperature. Selecting position 2 allows the controller to operate between speeds 2 and 5.

Using a lower minimum setting gives the controller a wider operating range and greater flexibility when responding to changing grow room temperatures.

PRO Night-Time Humidity Control Function

The PRO Series adds a useful night-time ventilation programme designed to help prevent excessive humidity building up during the lights-off period.

When the controller detects that the grow lights have switched off, it can automatically enter its secondary night programme. During this cycle, fan speed is periodically increased to move additional air through the growing environment and help remove excess moisture.

When the lights switch back on, the Hybrid PRO automatically returns to its normal temperature-control programme. The additional night-time programme can also be activated or deactivated when required.

Twin Fan Control for Intake & Extraction

The Hybrid Controllers +PRO Series is designed to control both intake and extraction fans, automatically synchronising their operation as fan speeds change.

This makes the controller particularly suitable for grow rooms where maintaining consistent airflow and controlled air exchange is important. Both connected fans respond together as the controller adjusts ventilation according to the temperature programme.

The Hybrid PRO gives growers the flexibility of both automatic and manual fan control. Automatic operation allows the temperature sensor and internal software to manage fan speed for you, while manual settings provide straightforward direct control when required.

Fan speeds are controlled using a heavy-duty internal relay system. A small click may be heard when the controller moves between speed settings; this is the mechanical relay switching between fan-speed stages.

Important: the maximum load refers to the combined load of both connected fans. Always add together the current draw of your intake and extraction fans and select a controller with a suitable capacity.

Which Hybrid PRO Controller Do I Need?

When choosing between the 4A, 8A and 16A Hybrid Controllers, check the electrical current rating of both fans you intend to connect.

Add the amperage of the intake fan and extraction fan together. The combined figure must remain within the maximum rating of the controller you select.

For example, a ventilation system with two fans drawing a combined 3 amps requires a controller capable of safely handling at least that load. Choosing the appropriate model ensures the controller is correctly matched to your ventilation equipment.
