Vortex 10" Oscillating Clip Fan

The Vortex 10" Oscillating Clip Fan is a powerful yet compact grow tent circulation fan designed to improve air movement throughout indoor growing environments. Featuring an innovative dual oscillation system that combines horizontal fan head movement with a rotating front grille, this 10-inch fan helps distribute airflow across a wider area of the plant canopy.

With a 20W motor, two selectable speed settings and a manually adjustable fan head, the Vortex 10" Clip Fan offers a practical solution for maintaining consistent air circulation in hydroponic grow tents, indoor grow rooms and propagation spaces. Its quiet operation makes it suitable for enclosed growing environments, while the supplied two mounting clips provide flexibility when positioning the fan.

Effective air circulation is an important part of maintaining a healthy indoor growing environment. By helping reduce stagnant air around leaves and stems, the Vortex 10-inch oscillating fan supports a more consistent grow-room climate and can help minimise localised hot spots and conditions that favour mould development.

Key Features

• 10-inch (250mm) fan designed for air circulation in grow tents and indoor cultivation spaces.
• Dual oscillation technology combines horizontal head movement with a rotating front grille for wider airflow distribution.
• Manually adjustable fan head allows airflow to be directed towards specific areas of the growing space.
• 2 speed settings provide a choice of airflow intensity to suit different growing environments.
• 20W power rating for effective air movement.
• Quiet operation makes the fan suitable for indoor growing areas where noise is a consideration.
• Two mounting clips included for flexible installation on suitable supports.
• Mesh safety grille provides a protective barrier around the fan blades.
• Mechanical oscillation control using a rear-mounted oscillation rod.
• Helps circulate air around dense plant canopies and reduce stagnant pockets of air.
• Supports more even air distribution in LED grow light setups and enclosed grow tents.
• Provides airflow that can help encourage stronger plant stems during active growth.
• Can help reduce environmental conditions associated with mould and mildew by improving air movement around foliage.
• Compact clip-on design helps preserve floor space in grow tents and grow rooms.
• Suitable for hydroponic systems, soil cultivation, coco growing and general indoor gardening.

Who It’s For

The Vortex 10" Oscillating Clip Fan is ideal for indoor growers who want reliable, adjustable airflow across their plant canopy. It is particularly suited to hydroponic grow tents, grow rooms, propagation areas and indoor gardening setups where air movement is essential for maintaining a balanced growing environment.

Growers cultivating plants under LED grow lights can use the fan to help distribute air around foliage and reduce stagnant areas within the canopy. Its dual oscillation system is especially useful where wider airflow coverage is needed, while the two-speed operation makes it easy to adapt air movement to different plant sizes and growth stages. The supplied mounting clips also make it a practical choice for growers who want to keep circulation equipment off the floor and preserve valuable growing space.

How To Use

Mounting: Select the appropriate mounting clip for your growing setup and secure the fan to a suitable, stable surface or support pole. Check that the fan is firmly attached and positioned away from obstructions before connecting it to a suitable 240V power supply.

Positioning: Manually adjust the fan head to direct airflow towards the desired area of your grow tent or grow room. For plant canopy circulation, position the fan so that air moves gently across the foliage rather than continuously blasting one area at close range.

Speed Selection: Choose between the 2 available speed settings to suit your environment. Use the lower setting when gentler airflow is required and the higher setting when stronger circulation is needed.

Oscillation Control: To activate oscillation, pull the oscillation rod at the rear of the fan upwards. The fan's dual oscillation system combines horizontal head movement with the rotating front grille to spread airflow more widely. To stop oscillation, push the rod back down.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Switch off the fan and disconnect it from the power supply before cleaning. Wipe the plastic surfaces using a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents, alcohol, petrol or abrasive cleaning products. Keep all electrical and metal components away from water, and regularly check that the fan remains securely mounted and free from obstructions.
